Essential Functions Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge, including features, benefits, and applications across various platforms. Responsible for managing and prioritizing day to day work of Automation Specialists. Coordinate with the Marketing team to manage product launch activities, ensuring a seamless introduction to the market. Provide pre-sales support to customers including: review of customer project specifications and documents, preparing and presenting bills of materials, proof of concepts, performance tests, and properly sizing and recommending components to solve application requirements. Provide post-sales support to customers including: assisting with customer technical product issues, implementation troubleshooting, product training, and escalating issues to appropriate vendor partners if necessary. Perform gap analysis to identify target customers for specific products and pursue those opportunities. Utilize the customer relationship manager (CRM) tool to log and manage customer opportunities, tasks, customer interactions, and support responses from customers. Collaborate with Account Managers, Business Consultants, and Solution Consultants in opportunity pursuits by defining the best products for the identified solution architecture. Proactively facilitate and provide product-based training to internal teams including Sales and Customer Experience. Proactively provide customers relevant information on new products and technology related to their industry and application needs. Analyze competitive product lines and communicate competitive product differentiators for customers.
