As an Administrative Specialist, you will provide high-level administrative and operational support to pharmacy leaders while contributing to onboarding, scheduling, departmental coordination, and workflow management. This is an ideal opportunity for a healthcare administrative professional who enjoys variety, independence, and meaningful collaboration within a complex healthcare organization.

The Role

This full-time, on-site position supports three pharmacy enterprise directors and plays an important role in helping a large, geographically distributed pharmacy operation run efficiently. Supporting teams across inpatient, outpatient, infusion, clinical, and business service areas, you will serve as a trusted resource for leaders while helping coordinate critical administrative and operational activities.

In a typical day, you may:

  • Manage complex leadership calendars, scheduling priorities, and meeting coordination.

  • Organize department meetings, leadership forums, and town hall events.

  • Support onboarding activities and scheduling for new pharmacy team members.

  • Assist with requisitions, financial processes, approvals, and operational workflows.

  • Coordinate communication and administrative activities across multiple pharmacy locations.

  • Maintain office operations, administrative resources, and supply management.

  • Anticipate leadership needs and proactively address administrative challenges.

  • Partner with a growing administrative support team to improve efficiency and standardize processes.

This role offers significant visibility to senior pharmacy leadership, exposure to a healthcare operation supporting more than 650 pharmacy professionals, and the opportunity to contribute beyond traditional administrative support functions. Success in this position comes from strong organization, attention to detail, professionalism, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence.
