Full job description

Mental Health Techs are responsible for providing direct care to developmentally disabled adults in a day treatment setting. You must have the a bility to accurately and timely document activities and logbooks, and transport individuals (with an approved driving record). If the position requires driving, during the interview, we will go over the schedule and explain the driving routes. This position will be discussed in more depth during the interview. Schedule: - Full time - Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; driver required. - Part time - Monday-Friday, will discuss further during the interview. Requirements: - Minimum of a high school diploma or GED/high school equivalency certificate - Current/valid non-expired driver's license. - This position requires driving. To meet the driving requirements, you must be at least 21 and have an insurable driving record. - Knowledge of computer software and programs, Word, Outlook and type 40+ wpm. - You will be required to complete MAC (Medication Assistant Certified) training. - Employment requires a 5 day paid orientation held in Marion County, AL, Monday-Friday, 8:30a-4p.
