HRIS Integration Project Manager

Description

Robert Half, HR Solutions are looking for an experienced HRIS Integration Project Manager to support a major HR technology initiative in Duluth, Georgia. This three-month contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can coordinate cross-functional teams, keep complex project work on track, and drive successful delivery in a fast-moving environment. The role will partner closely with HR, payroll, IT, benefits, external vendors, and global stakeholders to ensure smooth execution from planning through post-launch support.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the end-to-end delivery of a large HRIS project, aligning timelines, milestones, and stakeholder expectations across multiple functional teams.

• Coordinate integration efforts between HR, payroll, benefits, timekeeping, and external vendor platforms to support accurate data flow and operational continuity.

• Oversee data conversion activities, including validation, mapping, and readiness reviews to help ensure reliable employee and payroll information.

• Manage configuration of payroll-related elements such as earnings, deductions, accrual structures, and employee records within the HRIS environment.

• Guide testing activities by organizing test plans, tracking issues, and working with internal teams and implementation partners to resolve defects efficiently.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to support onboarding processes, reporting needs, badge administration, and benefits-related connections.

• Lead communication and coordination with external carriers and retirement plan providers to support successful interface setup and ongoing functionality.

• Facilitate user training, readiness planning, and post-go-live support to help teams adopt new processes and maintain stable operations after launch.

Requirements • 3+ years of experience managing HRIS, HR technology, or related system implementation projects.

• Hands-on background with HRIS implementation, HRIS analysis, and overall HRIS system administration or project delivery.

• Strong understanding of payroll, benefits administration, and time and attendance processes within a complex business environment.

• Experience overseeing system integrations involving enterprise HR platforms, payroll applications, and third-party vendors.

• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, balance competing priorities, and drive projects to key deadlines.

• Familiarity with UltiPro HRIS or comparable human resources information systems is strongly preferred.

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively across HR, IT, and vendor teams.
