Maintenance Controls Tech (Maintenance Controls Technician)

Mechanical Maintenance Technician Sofidel America is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities: and#149; Ensure plant process equipment, maintenance equipment, and rolling stock are maintained in safe and reliable condition. and#149; Conduct preventive maintenance rounds, troubleshoot equipment issues, and perform inspections and tests as needed. and#149; Monitor, diagnose, and correct equipment problems; improve equipment design, operation, and monitoring to enhance reliability and product quality. and#149; Participate in teams and task forces to address equipment or process problems. and#149; Use a computer maintenance management system for planning repairs, preventive maintenance, ordering parts and tools, and preparing requests for new equipment. and#149; Update maintenance procedures for equipment and contribute to the Maintenance Development System. and#149; Complete assigned training to become a multi-skilled mechanical technician and participate in the training of others. and#149; Maintain a safe and orderly work area and actively participate in company safety programs. and#149; Establish and maintain effective communication and relationships with all team members and suppliers. and#149; Maintain a multi-skilled area of ownership, including work order management, preventive/predictive maintenance, safety, and environmental follow-up. and#149; Serve as backup to other mechanical maintenance technicians as needed. and#149; Assist with the layout, installation, checkout, and commissioning of new equipment. and#149; Perform other responsibilities related to the position as required.
