Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $22 - $22 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Vessel Sampling Support Technician:

• Assist inspectors with vessel sampling operations at port facilities

• Collect, handle, and transport samples in accordance with established procedures

• Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment

• Move equipment and supplies throughout the worksite as needed

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Follow all port, maritime, safety, and regulatory requirements

• Perform general labor and site support duties as assigned

• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in an outdoor environment

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Valid and current TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card required

• Ability to work in an outdoor port and maritime environment under varying weather conditions

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials, equipment, and supplies safely

• Strong commitment to workplace safety and the ability to follow established procedures and instructions

• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite

• Flexibility to work varying schedules based on vessel arrivals and sampling requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding labor for the duration of the shift

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team

• Previous experience in general labor, warehouse, construction, dockside, port, or maritime operations preferred but not required
