This role will work closely with the VP of Service, Service Department Managers, and Millwrights to support hands-on rebuilds, equipment inspections, and mechanical repair. The position will involve both office-based technical work (e.g., mechanical drawings and documentation) and on-site labor such as dismantling, inspecting, and rebuilding major paper machine components. The ideal candidate should be an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering. The applicant must possess strong technical aptitude, mechanical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in physically demanding industrial environments. Experience with AutoCAD and an interest in equipment design, repair, and maintenance are also important. Responsibilities * Support Field Service Millwrights with mechanical rebuilds of equipment including various screens, filters, headboxes, press sections, rolls, and dryer cylinders. * Assist in preparing and modifying technical drawings using AutoCAD or other drafting tools * Participate in the disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of mechanical systems * Collect field measurements and help analyze wear or failure patterns * Document mechanical...
