Job Duties
Minneapolis Radiation Oncology is recruiting for a Part Time 0.8 or Full-Time Medical Secretary to work in our busy Radiation Therapy Department located within Mercy Specialty Center in Coon Rapids and cover at our Unity clinic in Fridley and North Clinic in Robbinsdale. This position will work at the Coon Rapids location about half the time and cover at Fridley and Robbinsdale the other half. The ability to flex up and stay late occasionally if patients are still in the clinic is important.
Duties include greeting and registering patients, complex appointment scheduling, patient chart prep, answering phones and assisting clinic personnel with a variety of administrative and ordering tasks.

Minimum Experience Required
Requirements include:
Previous healthcare, hospital or clinic experience is required. Medical terminology is a plus.
Experience gathering previous medical records is also a plus.
Strong computer skills and experience with EPIC or other EMR software is given first preference.
Experience using Teams messaging is also beneficial.
Excellent communication skills, positive attitude and ability to multi-task.
Reliable attendance is a must.
Annual flu vaccine required or must wear a mask during flu season to protect the health and safety of our patients.
