We develop the foundational capabilities that enable access to and transform spatial data into actions and insights for AI solutions.

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to help drive our product vision and strategy. The ideal candidate will shape the future of Geospatial at AWS, working closely with engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions in an evolving technology space.

Key job responsibilities

  • Perform market segmentation and ensure that our product is targeted at the most attractive market segments.

  • Build a roadmap and define features that delight our customers, drive adoption, and increase utilization of our services.

  • Create positioning and messaging; perform outbound marketing and launch activities in collaboration with product marketing.

  • Partner with internal teams to ensure that our new product leverages the best of AWS.

  • Manage the technical and commercial aspects of partnerships

  • Own the strategy to drive growth in existing and new market segments.

  • Report to senior leadership on the state of the business.

A successful PMT in this role will be technical and conceptualize products for developer customers, and credibly communicate the value of our product in complex architectures.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience

  • 5+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience

  • Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in transportation operations and industry knowledge

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
