I’m working on an opportunity with a leading global venture capital firm managing tens of billions in assets and investing across AI, enterprise software, fintech, healthcare, cybersecurity, and more.

They’re looking for a Fund Accountant with 1.5–4 years of relevant experience who wants more than just a close process — someone eager to build expertise across complex fund structures, investment activity, and LP operations while working closely with experienced team members and senior leadership.

💡 What You’ll Do

• Maintain fund general ledgers and record investment activity, expenses, accruals, and valuation changes

• Manage monthly bank reconciliations and process investment and expense wires

• Prepare quarterly fund financial statements and close packages

• Calculate partner capital allocations, capital calls, and distributions

• Track investment data and reconcile investment details to cap tables

• Maintain LP records and process LP interest transfers

• Respond to investor inquiries and distribute financial statements, K-1s, and investor notices

Requirements

Who They’re Looking For

• 1.5–4 years of VC/PE fund accounting or relevant public accounting experience

• Big 10 public accounting experience, preferably audit, or experience at a fund or fund administrator

• Strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and analytical skills

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset

• Someone proactive, inquisitive, easygoing, and eager to learn

• CPA or progress toward the CPA is a plus
