Full job description
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Monitor wastewater flows and treatment processes at the plant and lift stations. Operate and adjust critical treatment equipment, including pumps, clarifiers, aeration systems, chemical-feed systems, anaerobic digesters, and related controls. Use SCADA and computer systems to monitor plant performance and maintain accurate operating logs, charts, and records. Collect samples and conduct routine physical and chemical laboratory testing. Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment and facilities. Respond promptly and safely to operational issues and emergencies. Perform work safely, including use of PPE and compliance with confined-space procedures. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Liquids Operator I: The ability to obtain a Wisconsin DNR wastewater operator certification within one year of hire.
