Full job description
Our client, a leading organization in the food and beverage industry, is seeking a dedicated Credit Clerk to join their team. As a Credit Clerk, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Collections and Accounts Receivable teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Credit Clerk
Location: Vernon, CA
Pay Rate: $24/hr
Shift: 1st Shift
What's the Job?

Contact delinquent accounts to request payment and document all communication in the contact center system.

Maintain professional and courteous relationships with a diverse range of customers and team members.

Schedule effective reminders for payment deadlines based on customer agreements and collection patterns.

Respond to customer inquiries regarding outstanding balances, invoices, and account information.

Research account disputes and billing discrepancies, ensuring accurate resolution and documentation.
What's Needed?

Polite, friendly demeanor with the ability to handle difficult conversations diplomatically.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Strong math and problem-solving abilities.

Familiarity with Oracle platforms and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines and follow up effectively.
