Job Description
The Commodity Manager for Mechanical/PWB and Cables will be responsible for setting strategic direction for the product technology and supply base. The role will include leading a small team of Procurement Analysts of varying experience levels, supporting internal and external customer meetings, holding compliance standards, and ensuring deliveries are aligned to customer needs. Also, must support overall business goals by analyzing market trends, supplier capabilities, program expectations, and cost and contract terms negotiation.
Core Responsibilities:

Commodity Strategy: Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for Mechanical parts, PWBs and Cable assemblies to optimize cost and ensure supply continuity.

Strategic Direction: Define, communicate, and lead clear long-term strategies aligned with company growth goals.

Team Leadership: Manage, mentor and develop a technical team of specialists, aligning individual s goals with broader supply chain targets.

Supplier Relationship Management: Identify, qualify, and manage key suppliers and contract manufacturers, hosting regular business reviews.

Cost & Contract Negotiation: Lead high value contract negotiations, negotiate cost reductions, contract negotiations, lead time reductions, mentoring procurement analysts in negotiation strategies.

Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with cross function teams to support issues that may arise.

Operational Excellence: Oversee daily execution of procurement analysts. Streamline workflows and ensure there are no overdue purchase orders or actions. Analyze, communicate and drive actions out of team metrics.

Leadership Reporting: Ability to analyze, compile and report out data to senior level leadership.
This is a hybrid role out of our Greenlawn, NY or Hudson, NH locations would consider remote for the right person.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

Leadership: Ability to provide direction, delegate, lead, and pivot quickly to adapt to high pace environment.

Procurement Expertise: Experience in sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, supplier management, and managing customer expectations.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross functional teams, suppliers, and peers.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $129542 - $220222
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
