As an Entry‑Level Electrician, you’ll learn how to install and repair marine cable systems, connect lighting and electrical power equipment, and support shipboard electrical work using hand tools, power tools, and basic drawings or schematics. No prior marine electrical experience is required — we provide the training.

If you’re ready to begin your electrical trade journey at “America’s Shipyard,” a future at Ingalls Shipbuilding — Mississippi’s largest private employer — is waiting.
