FTI is searching for an Electrical Engineer to support the Product Engineering team in Menasha, WI. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and/or specifying electrical and electro-mechanical parts and assemblies that will be used within products that are used within the renewable energy, microgrid, EV charging, crypto mining, and data center markets. The Electrical Engineer will support the Design Engineering team in the design and qualification of electrical components, sub-systems, multi-level assemblies, and system architecture of various products that are used within the energy industry. This position will also work with other disciplines within the organization to understand customer and market requirements, design products to be easy to both manufacture and assemble, support products as they go through the Product Development Process, and support service and aftermarket needs. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent * Internship or 6 months of work experience * Working knowledge in 2D/3D CAD design software (Inventor, CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo) * Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and PLC controllers * Experience in Bill of Material creation and Change Notice processes PREFERRED * 2 years of product design experience * Experience in electrical components or equipment within the energy industry * Experience in the design and development of electrical components preferred * PLC programming experience preferred Travel: 10-25% Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Works a sufficient schedule to meet the expectations of the role. Work Location: This role requires work to be done Onsite from our Menasha, WI office.
