As our Senior Systems Engineer, you'll support HID's successby: * Engaging in the design, deployment, and maintenance of server, storage, and cloud infrastructure across production and non-production environments. * Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing system performance, ensuring high availability and adherence to SLAs. * Building and maintaining automation for system provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and incident handling. * Serving as an escalation point for complex operational issues, driving root-cause analysis and long-term remediation. * Developing and maintaining detailed system architecture documentation, runbooks, and operational standards. * Implementing and managing robust backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies. * Collaborating closely with Security, DevOps, Network Engineering, and Application teams to ensure endtoend platform stability. * Driving lifecycle management for infrastructure components, including patching, upgrades, and capacity planning. * Participating in the on-call rotation and leading response efforts during major incidents. * Evaluating and recommending new technologies, tools, and processes to continuously improve operational maturity. * Designing and deploying new infrastructure solutions. * Automating workflows, provisioning, and system management tasks. * Leading rootcause analysis and driving longterm remediation strategies. * Collaborating with crossfunctional teams for projects and platform improvements. * Evaluating and recommending new technologies and tools. * Supporting SAFe/Agile ceremonies and contributing to iterative delivery cycles. * Participating in capacity planning and infrastructure roadmap development.
