Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Enhancement Manager to join the Commercial Maintenance team of a full-service landscaping company in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.

This individual will oversee landscape enhancement projects across an established commercial property portfolio. The position combines sales, estimating, production management, field leadership, and customer service. The Enhancement Manager will identify improvement opportunities, develop profitable proposals, coordinate crews and resources, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of both the operational and financial sides of commercial landscaping and enjoys developing employees, working directly with customers, and managing projects from estimate through completion.

Responsibilities Identify landscape enhancement opportunities within existing commercial accounts Partner with Account Managers to understand customer needs and recommend property improvements Develop accurate estimates and present enhancement proposals Maintain an active pipeline of enhancement opportunities Oversee the production of commercial landscape enhancement projects Schedule crews and coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and deliveries Provide field teams with clear job details before work begins Monitor labor hours, material costs, job costs, budgets, and overall project performance Compare actual project performance against estimated hours and costs Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety Lead, coach, and support Crew Leaders and enhancement field crews Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels Address customer concerns professionally and ensure completed work meets the agreed-upon scope Manage projects with a strong focus on gross margin and profitability Ensure completed work is properly documented and prepared for timely billing

Skills and Requirements

Previous experience in the landscaping industry, preferably within commercial landscape maintenance, enhancements, or landscape construction Experience estimating and selling landscape enhancement projects Experience leading field employees and managing multiple crews or projects Strong understanding of landscape production, labor, materials, and equipment Knowledge of plants, hardscapes, irrigation, seasonal color, and landscape materials Understanding of job costing, budgets, gross margin, and production performance Strong sales, customer service, and relationship-building skills Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities Ability to prioritize responsibilities and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using technology for estimating, scheduling, communication, and job tracking Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Self-motivated, accountable, and team-oriented
