Grinder Bead Blaster

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Shift 1 (United States of America) Coperion is currently seeking a Grinder to support our location in Whitewater, WI. The Grinder/Bead Blast Operator supports the activities of the Operations department by setting up, maintaining, operating, and cleaning grinding and bead blast equipment to assure a quality product finish that meets specifications. We have a 5S environment, very clean production floor and great people to work with! Schedule: 1st shift Monday-Thursday 6 am - 3 pm & Friday 6 am - Noon Responsibilities: Sets up equipment, chooses nozzles per requirements, and adjusts mixture of air with sand for best efficiency and finish Exercise skill to remove adhering sand, scale, residue from parts/products and to inspect and provide a finished part that meets requirements Operate stationary and portable grinders and other hand tools to remove oxidation and foreign matter, burrs, weld spatter, etc. from stainless steel Grinds and polishes weld seams to obtain a matched grained finish on product surfaces per drawings and specifications * Support our lean manufacturing processwith 5S * Adhere to ISO 9001 company standards, work instructions and procedures Required Education/Experience/Skills: * High school diploma or equivalent * 6 months or more related experience * Ability to read blueprints preferred * Basic computer knowledge * Dependability a must Benefits: Our benefit package includes medical, dental, and vision plans, vacation/sick pay, life insurance, short & long-term disability, paid parental leave and 401k retirement plan.
