Job Description

Associate Director Medical Affairs Insights and Analytics for Whippany, NJ to lead the development of data analytics and business intelligence solutions for the Medical Affairs function; lead the design, development & implementation secure analytics dashboards, software applications, and data-driven BI tools; provide technical support for the use & functionality of analytics dashboards with cross-functional stakeholders; provide training related to BI tools; mentor & train junior analysts. Requires Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Marketing, Business Intelligence or closely-related field & 4 yrs experience in a pharmaceutical and/or medical environment developing & maintaining dashboards using PowerBI and Power-Apps to track and analyze key medical engagement and impact metrics; leading HCP Identification & segmentation using SQL and/or Python to extract insights from claims and health systems datasets for targeted engagement; integrating omnichannel & claims data into medical data ecosystem using Snowflake; developing information architecture & data systems to support medical affairs data and informed insights; using AI tools to generate medical intelligence reports for therapeutic areas from field medical activities; using Veeva CRM to generate analytics-based recommendations to support medical field alignment & performance; implementing omnichannel marketing strategies using Tealium Audience Stream, Salesforce and/or Google Analytics to personalize Medical content; and analyzing digital marketing campaigns using advanced analytics to maximize reach. Telecommuting from home office location within reasonable commuting distance of Whippany, NJ permitted up to 3 days/wk. Up to 10% U.S. and int’l travel req’d. Salary Range: Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $173,000.00 to $185,000.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. The offered salary may vary within this range based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
