REMOTE- Senior .Net Developer

Job Description

An employer is seeking a Full Stack .NET Developer to work remotely and support the continued growth and modernization of their enterprise rental technology platform. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing APIs, integrations, and web services that support critical business functions across the organization's rental applications. You will collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and cross-functional development teams to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions that improve system functionality, streamline processes, and enhance the overall customer experience. This team develops and maintains a diverse portfolio of applications that support the company's core rental business, including customer-facing platforms, payment processing systems, and internal operational tools. You will contribute to multiple concurrent initiatives ranging from new feature development and system enhancements to larger modernization efforts. A significant focus of the role will involve building and centralizing payment-related APIs, improving integration capabilities between systems, and ensuring secure, reliable transaction processing. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience within the Microsoft technology stack, including C#, .NET, RESTful APIs, and SQL-based databases. While the primary emphasis is on backend engineering, you will also support front-end development efforts, troubleshooting, and enhancements using modern web technologies when needed. Success in this role requires the ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment, contribute to technical design discussions, and deliver high-quality code that supports both current business needs and future scalability.

Skills and Requirements

3-5+ years experience in full stack .Net development Strong backend development skills- C#, SQL Well versed in engineering APIs, web services, integrations, etc. Experience with Azure API Management, functions, services, etc. Experience leveraging Github Copilot and other agentic tools Experience working in Agile/ Scrum environments Appian experience AS400 experience Stripe experience
