Associate Pipeline Operations Technician
Role Overview
Operate and support the site pipeline network and safe-work permitting activities within pipeline corridors. Work in accordance with Operate Plant, Global Maintenance, and other applicable global work processes. This role requires established foundational technical skills to complete a range of routine activities using existing procedures and methods.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor and protect Dow pipelines during excavation activities.

Coordinate with private landowners, public officials, and vendor plant contacts.

Assist with calibration of station instrumentation.

Process and support Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Safe Work Permit activities.

Maintain housekeeping within the assigned work area.

Respond to 811 utility-location requests (“one-calls”).

Serve as a technical process resource for the assigned operational area.

Perform or assist with root-cause and failure analyses; ensure preliminary investigations are thorough and completed promptly.

Create, review, modify, and approve operational procedures, as authorized, to support consistent operating discipline.

Partner with production staff to resolve issues, support continuous improvement, and help achieve facility goals.

Understand and follow applicable life-critical standards.

An associate degree or other short-cycle tertiary qualification, plus manufacturing or related experience, is preferred.
