Full job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly professional Executive IT Support Technician to provide white-glove technical support to hospital executives, physicians, administrative leadership, and key stakeholders in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role will be responsible for supporting Windows-based technologies, executive conference rooms, mobile devices, and clinical support systems while ensuring exceptional customer service, rapid issue resolution, and minimal disruption to patient care operations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience supporting senior leadership, and the ability to operate effectively in a healthcare environment requiring discretion, urgency, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated VIP and executive-level IT support for hospital leadership, physicians, and department heads.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, printer, and application issues in a Microsoft Windows environment.

  • Support Windows 10/11 workstations, laptops, docks, peripherals, and related endpoint technologies.

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access requests utilizing Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure AD.

  • Support Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, and other enterprise applications.

  • Install, configure, image, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

  • Ensure executive conference rooms, telehealth systems, and audiovisual technologies are fully operational for meetings and presentations.

  • Support mobile devices including iPhone, iPad, and Android platforms while managing device enrollment through MDM solutions such as Intune.

  • Coordinate and execute executive technology refreshes, equipment upgrades, and office moves.

  • Document incidents, requests, resolutions, and processes within the ITSM platform.

  • Escalate complex infrastructure, networking, security, or application issues to appropriate support teams.

  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, hospital security policies, and healthcare industry standards.

  • Participate in on-call support and provide after-hours executive support as needed.

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders through exceptional customer service and proactive communication.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Desktop Support, Executive Support, or IT Support experience.

  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11 enterprise environments.

  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.

  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, and peripheral devices.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and endpoint management solutions.

  • Experience supporting mobile devices and executive users.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple issues in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • Experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ITSM tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous healthcare, hospital, or clinical environment experience.

  • Experience supporting Epic, Cerner, or other healthcare applications.

  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare security requirements.

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent technical certifications.

  • Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms and audiovisual conferencing solutions.

  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Washington, DC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $49.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
