DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins) and artifact promotion controls.

• Administer Linux/Windows servers, OpenShift projects and non-production environments.

• Run configuration management, maintain the product configuration management plan, and manage branching, tagging and versioning.

• Administer Jira, Confluence and GitHub for the program.

• Support application monitoring and alerting, patching and after-hours deployment windows.

• SME: design platform standards, lead hardening and vulnerability-scan remediation, and mentor others.

Qualifications

• Mid / Level II / “Journeyman”: 2+ years in systems administration or DevOps.

• Mid / Level II / “Journeyman”: 5+ years, including CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.

• SME: 10+ years, including 5+ years leading DevOps on federal systems (Senior / Level III).

• Linux/Windows administration; GitHub Actions, GitLab or Jenkins.

Desired Skills

• OpenShift and Ansible.

• Configuration management plans, branching and versioning.

• Jira, Confluence and GitHub administration.

• Application monitoring, patching and after-hours deployment windows.

Education

• Bachelor's degree.

• Red Hat Certified System Administrator or Engineer; Red Hat Ansible or OpenShift; AWS or Azure DevOps Engineer.

• Tools track: Atlassian Jira Administrator; Security+ preferred.

Clearance:

• Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential.

Location:

• Remote, USA.

Pay Range:

• The suggested pay for this position ranges from $95,546 to $115,875.

• The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

• Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
