Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing multiple hospital cost centers within Family Centered Care.

Responsible for, through assigned department clinical managers, coordinators, or supervisor(s), the effective management of department cost centers.

Evaluates trends in activity and makes operational changes as necessary to improve service levels.

In concert with Director and Clinical Managers, develops departmental goals and objectives and polices and procedures which meet the service needs of the area.

Develops and maintains systems, techniques and procedures for managing resources required for patient care delivery.

May develop and provides input into hospital‑wide policies or departmental policies that impact across division lines. Actively participates on hospital committees that address operational issues.

Establishes the expected level of performance and maintains the standard by holding others accountable.

Manages the process for defining, developing and allocating the resources required for patient care.

Defines and monitors key measures of performance, assesses the effectiveness of process/practice improvements and identifies priorities/opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:1. Bachelor's degree in management or field of assigned specialty with extensive experience in the appropriate service or equivalent amount of education and experience unique to assigned areas of responsibility.
- RN licensed in Georgia
PREFERRED:1. MSN or MBA
Work Hours: 8AM-4PM
