Preschool Director - Fairfield County, CT $48,000-$52,000 Base Salary + Quarterly Bonus Potential Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Confidential Search Are you an experienced early childhood leader ready to take ownership of a school, develop an amazing team, and make a meaningful impact on children and families? A well-established, family-owned early childhood education organization is seeking Preschool Directors for multiple locations in Fairfield County, Connecticut. We are looking for positive, hands-on leaders who can balance exceptional care and education with the day-to-day operations of a successful preschool. ## What You'll Do - Lead, coach, and develop a strong teaching team - Create a positive, supportive school culture - Build strong relationships with children and families - Oversee daily school operations, staffing, and scheduling - Maintain Connecticut licensing, health, safety, and compliance standards - Support curriculum quality and classroom excellence - Recruit, onboard, train, and retain great teachers - Manage enrollment and provide an exceptional experience for prospective families - Participate in community outreach and enrollment-building initiatives - Monitor enrollment, staffing, labor, and other key school performance indicators - Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming environment - Partner with organizational leadership to continuously improve school performance ## We're Looking for Someone Who - Has leadership experience in early childhood education, preschool, childcare, or a related setting - Meets applicable Connecticut Director qualification requirements - Has experience coaching and developing employees - Is confident communicating with families - Understands the importance of enrollment and family retention - Is highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities - Takes ownership and follows through - Brings positive energy, professionalism, and a solutions-focused mindset - Is willing to be hands-on and visible throughout the school Experience with NAEYC accreditation or quality improvement initiatives is a plus. ## Compensation Base Salary: $50,000-$55,000 annually Plus Quarterly Performance Bonus Potential based on areas such as: - Enrollment and retention - Team development and staffing - Operational and licensing excellence - Overall center performance ## Why Join Us?
