Day-to-Day:

  • Coordinate operational readiness activities across non-clinical support service departments
  • Partner with Environmental Services, Supply Chain, Food & Nutrition, Pharmacy, Security, Parking, Guest Services, and Patient Transport teams
  • Lead workflow design sessions and document department operating models
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, work sessions, and readiness reviews
  • Develop and maintain readiness checklists, milestones, and project plans
  • Conduct gap analyses and create recommendations for operational improvements
  • Lead tabletop exercises, simulations, testing events, and readiness validations
  • Coordinate staff training logistics and readiness activities
  • Track project status, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items
  • Create executive presentations and readiness reporting materials
  • Support go-live activities, move-in execution, and command center operations
  • Collaborate closely with Activation, Building Readiness, Clinical Operations, Facilities, and IT teams
  • Drive cross-functional communication and remove barriers impacting project execution

Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a Support Services Activation Liaison for a top healthcare client supporting one of the largest hospital expansion projects in California. This individual will play a critical role in preparing support service departments for the opening of a new 909,000-square-foot inpatient tower. The Liaison will serve as the primary point of coordination between operational support departments and activation leadership, ensuring all readiness, testing, training, workflow, and transition activities are completed on schedule. This role is ideal for a seasoned project manager with strong stakeholder management skills who thrives in highly complex environments. The candidate will lead readiness planning across multiple support service departments, facilitate work sessions, manage risks and dependencies, coordinate testing and validation activities, and support go-live planning. The ideal candidate brings a strong project management foundation, experience working with cross-functional teams, and preferably a background in healthcare operations, hospital activation, or large-scale organizational change initiatives.

Skills and Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • 7+ years of progressively responsible project management and/or healthcare operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or equivalent experience o Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint o Experience using project management tools such as Smartsheet

  • Strong project management experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives

  • Proven stakeholder management experience across multiple departments and leadership levels

  • Experience coordinating readiness, workflows, and operational planning across multiple teams

  • Ability to lead work sessions, facilitate meetings, and drive deliverables to completion

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Experience with workflow design, gap analysis, and business process documentation Plusses:

  • Healthcare industry experience

  • Experience supporting hospital operations, support services, supply chain, or materials management

  • PMP, CAPM, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar project management/process improvement certifications

  • Experience leading tabletop exercises, simulations, and Day-in-the-Life (DITL) events

  • Change management experience

  • Familiarity with FitUp platform

Compensation: $45/hr to $55/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
