RN - PreOp-PACU - Part time - Encinitas

This is a Part time, benefited, PACU RN position that will float to PreOP. It is located at Scripps Encinitas. The shift is 12 hours with a variable start time between 7am and 11am. There is also weekday call 2330-700,and weekend call7a-7p, or 7p-7a.that varies depending on staffing. The training schedule would ideally be full time.

Join our PACU team at Scripps where you will care for and monitor patients as they recover from anesthesia. The ideal candidate is someone who is patient focused and excited to join a dynamic team .

You will also:

• Assess the patient’s overall condition during the post-anesthesia period
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, breathing and respiration
• Manage pain and nausea

Required:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an RN in an acute care setting
• Current CA RN License.
• Current BLS and ACLSthrough the American Heart Association

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• Preop Experience
• PACU phase one and phase two
• ICU experience
