Sr. Salesforce Analyst

Job Purpose

The Sr. Business Analyst works closely with business unit stakeholders and the IT team to define technical specifications and requirements that support business processes and data needs. This role is responsible for reviewing and approving application code changes to ensure high-quality functional results and stable aftermarket systems with minimal disruption to business operations. The position identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to order management and business analytics processes through assessment of current system capabilities and customer requirements. The Business Analyst also develops user education and training materials, investigates system, process, and data issues, and leverages organizational resources to support issue resolution.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as a Salesforce Administrator.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Document current business processes, data, and physical environments.
• Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of existing processes, data, and physical environments.
• Define business and functional requirements based on analysis findings.
• Develop functional specifications for new processes, logical data models, and physical environments.
• Recommend build, buy, or outsource solutions based on business needs.
• Develop functional integration test specifications and conduct integration testing and customer acceptance testing.
• Identify, develop, and deliver training required for implementation activities.
• Provide second-tier support.

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline required, or an equivalent combination of education and 5 to 8 years of related professional experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of related professional experience.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Experience with SAP Business Objects and Power BI preferred.
• Fluency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.

• Experience working with project methodologies.

• Experience developing functional specifications for new processes, data structures, and physical environments.

• Develop functional integration test specifications and conducting integration and customer acceptance testing.

• Experience identifying, developing, and delivering training for implementation activities.

• Experience providing second-tier support.

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification or experience in Business Process Management preferred.
