About CBRE and Experience Services:
CBRE is the world's largest commercial real estate services firm. Experience by Industrious is CBRE’s global hospitality business that partners with leading companies and landlords to design and operate workplaces people love coming to. We treat the daily experience of work as a product worth obsessing over, and we build our teams with people who feel the same way.
About the Role:
The Meeting and Events Coordinator turns a client's request into the successful event they set out to hold. You own the event from intake to breakdown. When a client submits a meeting request or an event booking, you're the person who sees it through: confirming space, coordinating catering, arranging AV, managing vendors, and being present on the day to make sure it runs. You will be successful in this role when you run events without surprises and make every guest feel taken care of.
What You'll Do:
Event Coordination & Guest Services
-
Serve as point of contact for smaller meetings and events and support delivery of larger, more complex ones.
-
Coordinate guest services including arrival experience, transportation, signage, displays, and event security so attendees know where to go when they arrive.
-
Create a hospitable environment for attendees, event owners, and vendors.
Room Setup & Technical Support
-
Set up, refresh, and reconfigure indoor and outdoor event rooms to meet event requirements.
-
Complete room checks and troubleshoot audio and technical issues before sessions begin.
Calendar, Supplies & Reporting
-
Coordinate the master calendar for event spaces and communicate the schedule so the whole team works from one source.
-
Manage an inventory of event supplies and reorder as needed.
-
Assist with post-event reporting and reconciliation, escalating issues as appropriate.
This Role Is a Good Fit If You:
-
Receive as much satisfaction from the confirmation call and the backup plan as you do from the finished event.
-
Obsess over ensuring clients, vendors, and your team always know where things stand with your events, because you keep them updated without being asked.
-
Never find that a last-minute room flip or an early VIP throws you off your plan, and it shows in how calm you stay.
-
Notice what worked and what didn't after every event, and carry that into the next one.
What You Need:
-
2 or more years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, or a related field.
-
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
-
Comfortable with standard workplace and collaboration tools (email, documents, spreadsheets, and scheduling)
-
Ability to work under defined procedures with regular supervisory guidance.
-
Strong preference for experience coordinating corporate events or meetings, familiarity with event management platforms or room booking systems, and a background in catering coordination or AV logistics.
