Job Description

Job Description The Project Manager is the key to coordination between the design team, field team, major account agents, and our customers in a power utility environment. The Project Manager will manage projects from the T&D Capital Project Portfolio, focusing on power infrastructure. The Project Manager will oversee budgets ranging from $100K to $20M that span across Transmission, Distribution, and Substation assets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the project’s Engineering Led to set priorities, prepare project schedules, and work in a team-based environment with a focus on delivery and quality
  • Carefully manage customer requirements and schedules with internal team.
  • Acting as a liaison between multiple departments, including engineering, construction, operations, major account agents, stakeholder management and regulatory teams, to facilitate seamless communication and alignment
  • Coordinate project teams while serving as the primary point of contact to help resolve any issues
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that all deadlines are met
  • Schedule and attend Project Update meetings with both internal and external project teams
  • Ensure project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and posted in the project folder.
  • Follow-up with construction coordinator to make sure as-builts from the field get to the drafting department.
  • Follow up on invoicing and assist with closing project Purchase Orders.
  • Assist with closing out work orders.
  • Monitor project costs and assist project owners with monthly forecasting.
  • Conduct 2 Safety Walks per month

Skills and Requirements

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in construction or project management is a plus PMP Certification is a plus
