Job Description

BAE Systems is hiring a Senior Project or Process Engineer in business development to lead conceptual project s programs to increase chemical production capacity at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant (RFAAP) in southwestern Virginia. The project engineer in this role would be responsible for managing on-site project alignment meetings with stakeholders, maintaining a digital repository of submitted projects, and coordinating the requirements and execution of the submitted projects within the broader modernization site plan.

What is this job like? Most days this role's responsibilities would involve coordinating with the program manager and the PWS-2 team to determine which projects should be prioritized and what each project's technical requirements are before communicating these requirements to the government customer. This role possesses significant opportunity for growth since the energetics industry is a unique and specialized industry where the candidate can select their choice of career development (technical or management) should they desire to develop and hone their expertise
