Full job description

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Business Analyst Remote opportunity. This is an excellent opportunity to join the largest producer of carbon-free, reliable energy in the United States. Responsibilities for Business Analyst include but are not limited to:

  • Provide business function support across various power delivery and generation settings, supporting financial, operational, and reporting activities.

  • Develop and maintain processes to meet the needs of diverse financial groups utilizing O&M, Capital, balance sheet, and clearing accounts.

  • Prepare and support project estimates for electric and gas utility projects using estimating software, manuals, and established procedures.

  • Utilize systems and applications such as Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, Time, EERS, and PassPort to support estimating, financial, and operational activities.

  • Develop and maintain customized reports to support business, financial, and project reporting requirements.

  • Assist with the onboarding of newly acquired generation assets into the Workiva reporting platform.

  • Support the setup, collection, validation, and organization of ESG data for voluntary and regulatory reporting requirements.

  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely collection of financial, operational, and ESG-related data.

Candidates for Business Analyst must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or an Associate degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience preparing project estimates within the electric and/or gas utility industry.

  • Experience using estimating software and/or estimating manuals to efficiently prepare project estimates.

  • Hands-on technical experience with Workiva, particularly for reporting, data collection, or onboarding reporting entities/assets.

  • Working knowledge of ESG data collection practices, including data used for voluntary and regulatory reporting.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with enterprise applications such as PeopleSoft, Time, EERS, and PassPort.

  • Ability to develop and customize reports based on business and stakeholder requirements.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and data management skills with attention to accuracy.

  • Ability to work effectively with financial, operational, generation, and reporting teams.

Pay Details: $41.38 per hour
