CITY OF TWINSBURG FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC ENTRANCE EXAM By Order of the Twinsburg Civil Service Commission, Joe Jasany, Chairman The City of Twinsburg is seeking to establish an eligibility list for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic. This a full-time, classified, union, non-exempt (overtime eligible) position. Firefighter/Paramedics work 24 hour shifts followed by 48 hours off work with Kelly days. **Compensation: ** The starting annual probationary compensation rate in 2026 is $76,320.00 annually plus benefits. The top pay range in 2026 is $93,770 annually. Wages and benefits once hired as a Firefighter/Paramedic are determined by a collective bargaining agreement. Firefighter/Medics receive a training bonus and may receive paramedic certification pay.
