Specimen Collector
Setting: Healthcare Facilities
Job Type: Contract - Full Time
Pay: $22 / Hour
Hours: 40.00
Location: Hillsboro, OR
The Specimen Collector/Non-Certified Phlebotomist collects urine or saliva specimens, in addition to blood samples as trained and competent, as needed according to clinic volume. The Specimen Collector/Non-Certified Phlebotomist provides customer service in each patient interaction by providing instruction, emotional support or other patient care duties to obtain quality specimens.
Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED required
-
One year prior patient care experience preferred
-
Prior training in venipuncture or blood collection preferred
-
Additional certification and/or licensure as applicable perstate, federal and facility contract
-
Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
-
Current CPR if applicable
-
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
-
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
-
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
