Overview
Ignite your career as a VP, Local Investment in the Publicis Media Exchange! As a senior media investment and digital leader, you already know that Local Investment is dynamic and more important than ever, providing clients with market-specific strategies that increase results while reducing waste. Publicis Media Exchange has re-imagined Local Media bringing together our Collective, Digitas, Razorfish, Spark, Starcom, Infinite Roar and Zenith agency leads. In this role you will run a brand agency investment division – owning its P&L, growth agenda and talent strategy across Television, Radio, Streaming Audio, Digital Video (OTT/CTV/VOD), Display, Mobile, Programmatic and emerging channels.
Our Local Investment Leads collaborate with the C-suite to set the vision and bring it all together – the direct link between our clients, our teams and a continuously evolving marketplace. In this role your local expertise across traditional and digital channels, executive leadership presence and commercial competence will be pivotal to our success.
Responsibilities

Own the performance of a brand agency investment division, including revenue, margin, forecasting, resourcing, meeting various KPI deliverables and multi-year growth planning.

Serve as the senior client relationship owner and forward-facing industry leader, shaping C-suite conversations and growing the business for our clients and your brand agency.

Set digital and omni-channel investment strategy across CTV, video, display, mobile, audio and programmatic in partnership with the brand agency– from audience-first proposal through optimization, measurement and post-buy analysis.

Lead the marketplace agenda: negotiate and govern agency deals, develop and monitor CPP/CPM guarantees, and publish POVs on business-critical local and digital trends.

Advocate and govern the utilization and reporting of all Investments, inclusive of VBS (Apex), ensuring accuracy, compliance and adherence to approved strategy.

Build and develop a multi-layer organization of Directors, Client Leads and Negotiators – setting standards, delegating with intent and growing the next generation of leaders.

Partner across Planning, Investment, Analytics and Agency pillars to deliver innovative, well-targeted solutions and first-to-market local opportunities.

Translate performance data into executive-level business recommendations; lead new business pitches and client workshops.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in either Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
-
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in media investment or advertising, with significant experience in local media.

Experience in Media Ocean/Prisma preferred, Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheets or other project management tools

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

Experience P&L Ownership

Advanced local marketplace negotiation expertise across Television, Radio, Streaming Audio and CTV/OTT/VOD, including CPP/CPM guarantee development and agency deal governance

Hands-on command of programmatic and biddable video, display and mobile investment – from audience-first proposal through optimization, measurement and post-buy analysis

Experience building and leading multi-layer organizations of Directors, Client Leads and Negotiators, with a track record of succession planning and talent development

Senior client relationship ownership at the C-suite level, including new business pitches, client workshops and executive-level business recommendations grounded in performance data
-
Fluency with investment governance and reporting systems, inclusive of VBS (Apex), plus a visible industry presence publishing POVs on local and digital marketplace trends

Compensation Range: USD $149,340.00 - USD $214,620.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
