FINANCE CLERK

The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is looking for a Finance Clerk who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Finance Clerk supports the hotel’s accounts receivable and credit functions by accurately processing and reconciling City Ledger transactions, maintaining credit records, and ensuring compliance with company credit policies and procedures. This role assists in managing account accuracy, resolving billing discrepancies, and supporting the overall financial integrity of hotel operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Process accounts payable transactions by reviewing purchase orders, receipts, invoices, and payment requests to ensure accurate documentation, proper authorization, and timely vendor payments

• Verify, code, and process invoices, manual checks, electronic payments, expense reports, and petty cash reimbursements in compliance with company policies and internal controls

• Reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, communicate with vendors, and prepare necessary adjustments to ensure accurate account balances and timely resolution of outstanding items

• Prepare and maintain accounts payable records, payment documentation, and supporting files while ensuring all transactions are accurately entered into financial systems

• Coordinate with Finance leadership on stop payments, voided checks, manual payments, and other accounts payable matters to ensure compliance with established accounting procedures

• Ensure all vendor accounts, payment approvals, and disbursements are processed accurately, supported by required documentation, and completed in accordance with company and audit standards

WHAT TO BRING

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States

• The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required.

• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts

• 1–2 years of hotel Finance Department experience preferred, with proficiency in Excel, Birchstreet, Opera, Micros, and Sun systems
