Health Unit Coordinator (HUC)

Setting: Healthcare Facilities

Job Type: Contract - Full Time

Pay: $26 / Hour

Hours: 40.00

Location: South Portland, ME

Coordinates the day to day clinical operations for a group of health care professionals. Troubleshoots and resolves problems as they arise. Resolves patient problems or refers patients to appropriate resources. Ensures that patient visits and procedures are pre-authorized by third party payers, managed care organizations, and HMO's.

Minimum Requirements:

Highschool diploma required.
Associate'sDegree in healthcare administration strongly preferred.
One(1) year of experience in Clinic Administration preferred.
Successful completion ofbackground screening and hiring process.
