Sr. Software Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a team orientated Senior Software Engineer to support a client in Huntsville, AL. This individual will work alongside a team of engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support mission-critical systems and technical objectives.

This role is heavily focused on true backend, C/C++ programming and development. Also, seeking someone with embedded experience and hands on hardware/software experience. The engineer will play a key role in enhancing system capabilities, including expanding software-driven functionality that enables users to interact with and operate system components through external applications and interfaces. Responsibilities will include supporting new feature development, system integration efforts, code optimization, and modernization initiatives.

This role is 100% onsite and will require the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelor's Degree in STEM field -10+ years of experience

• True backend Development -C/C++ Experience

• Embedded software -DoD experience - preferred Army or Navy background
