OCM Consultant

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant to support a VA IT modernization program. This role focuses on foundational OCM activities that help the VA prepare for, implement, and reinforce change across its stakeholder community.
Key Responsibilities

Develop stakeholder assessments and stakeholder management plans
-
Create and execute strategic communications plans
-
Conduct organizational readiness assessments and recommend mitigation actions
-
Develop and implement quality plans so OCM deliverables and change activities meet program standards
-
Identify and resolve issues that affect release adoption, take corrective action, and escalate as needed
-
Assess the viability and effectiveness of change tools, processes, and adoption measures
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree
-
10+ years of relevant experience, including:
-
Creating and implementing detailed quality plans for IT products, services, or systems
-
Resolving project or program release problems and driving corrective action
-
Assuring the viability, functionality, and effectiveness of essential tools
Preferred Qualifications
-
Prosci, CCMP, or similar change management certification
-
Experience supporting federal agencies, VA preferred
-
Experience with stakeholder engagement, communications, and readiness in large IT implementations
