Full job description

Our client, a manufacturing environment focused on automated production, is seeking an Automation Technician to join their team. As an Automation Technician , you will be supporting day-to-day automation reliability and continuous improvement across production equipment. The ideal candidate will bring strong troubleshooting skills, a hands-on mindset, and the drive to improve safety, quality, and productivity through automation controls.

Job Title: Automation Technician

Location: Lebanon

Pay Range: $25-$30 based on experience

Shift: 6a-2:30p Monday-Friday

What's the Job?

  • Troubleshoot and repair PLC, HMI, robotic, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems to keep automated equipment running safely and efficiently.

  • Program, modify, and maintain PLC and HMI applications to support production requirements and improve machine performance.

  • Support robotic systems through troubleshooting, teaching, adjustment, and optimization to reduce downtime and improve output.

  • Diagnose machine faults using electrical schematics, ladder logic, technical manuals, and diagnostic software.

  • Install, configure, and maintain sensors, encoders, VFDs, servo drives, and other control devices, including machine startups, commissioning, changeovers, and validations.

What's Needed?

  • Technologically inclined with automation experience and hands-on machine troubleshooting capability.

  • Experience programming and supporting automated systems such as CNC machines, lasers, robotic arms, and related control software.

  • Ability to create/modify robot paths or movements and resolve programming issues using software interfaces.

  • Comfort integrating robotic equipment into production and optimizing performance based on real-world results.

  • CAD experience (required skill: CAD) to support documentation and equipment-related work.
