Are you passionate about medical education, relationship building, and shaping the future of orthopedic care? As a Fellows' Manager, you will play a critical role in developing lifelong Smith+Nephew advocates across Sports Medicine, Adult Reconstruction, and Trauma. Working throughout the Western Region of the United States, you will build meaningful relationships with fellows and fellowship programs, helping ensure the next generation of surgeons gains exposure to Smith+Nephew technologies, techniques, and educational opportunities.

What will you be doing?

Build and maintain relationships with Sports Medicine, Adult Reconstruction, and Trauma fellows and fellowship programs across the Western Region.

Serve as the primary Smith+Nephew expert for the fellows segment, creating engagement strategies that increase awareness of our technologies and educational offerings.

Develop and maintain accurate records of fellowship programs, fellow engagement, training curricula, and exposure to Smith+Nephew products and techniques.

Identify educational gaps and coordinate targeted learning opportunities that expand fellows' exposure to Smith+Nephew technologies.

Drive attendance and awareness for regional and national fellows' education programs.

Lead the Transition to Practice process, partnering with commercial teams to ensure a seamless experience as fellows enter independent clinical practice.

Collaborate closely with Medical Education, Clinical Education, Marketing, and commercial teams to maximize engagement and strengthen relationships within fellowship programs.

Partner with cross functional stakeholders to design and implement customized educational programs that address the unique needs of individual fellowship programs.

Prioritize fellowship programs based on engagement, strategic value, and business objectives while ensuring resources are aligned appropriately.

Share best practices across the Fellows' Manager team and provide regular reporting on activities, outcomes, and opportunities.

Support fellowship programs across North America as needed through collaborative team coverage.

Travel domestically up to 50%.

What will you need to be successful?

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.

5+ years of experience within medical device sales, medical education, clinical specialist, market development, orthopedic healthcare, or a related field.

Strong understanding of orthopedic operating room procedures, training processes, and surgeon education.

Experience working within Sports Medicine, Joint Reconstruction, Trauma, or similar orthopedic specialties.

Ability to build and maintain influential relationships with fellows, fellowship programs, key opinion leaders, and cross functional stakeholders.

Strong business acumen, customer focus, communication skills, and project management capabilities.

Broad product and procedural knowledge with the ability to identify cross franchise educational opportunities.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams and functions.

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $106,500 - 159,500 USD annually (or hourly) The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. In addition to base pay, we provide competitive bonus and benefits, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k, tuition reimbursement, medical leave programs, parental leave, and generous PTO, paid company holidays annually and 8 hours of Volunteer time and a variety of wellness offerings such as EAP.
