• Grafflin Elementary School

Schedule & Availability

• Afternoon Hours:2:50 PM–6:00 PM

• Days:Monday–Friday, following the school calendar

• Flexible weekday availability may be considered

• Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday availability is especially needed!

Position Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in fun, hands-on activities using the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, arts and crafts, academic enrichment, and group games.

• Create a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for children.

• Encourage teamwork, creativity, confidence, and social development.

• Serve as a positive role model while supporting children's individual needs.

• Follow New York State regulations, Healthy Kids Programs policies, and host school guidelines.

• Assist with daily program operations, including attendance and other assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent,ORat least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.

• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Dependable, professional, and committed to providing quality care.

• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
