About the Role

We’re recruiting a Regional Training Lead to support our manufacturing operations across Northern Victoria, based at our Cobram site.

This is a highly influential role focused on training governance, competency assurance and compliance risk. Working closely with operational leaders, you will help shape workforce capability, drive accountability for training outcomes and ensure training investment is focused on reducing operational, safety and compliance risk.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys influencing stakeholders, challenging existing practices and driving a consistent approach across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with site leaders to identify and manage training and competency risks

  • Lead training needs analysis and prioritise capability initiatives based on risk and business impact

  • Drive ownership and accountability for training and compliance outcomes

  • Champion consistent training and competency standards across the site

  • Provide advice on audit readiness, compliance requirements and workforce capability gaps

  • Monitor training effectiveness, competency frameworks and compliance activities

  • Manage training priorities, budgets and external training providers

  • Support audits and the resolution of training-related non-conformances

About You

  • Experience in training, learning, capability or competency management within a manufacturing or operational environment

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)

  • Strong understanding of compliance, safety, quality or operational risk frameworks

  • Proven ability to influence, challenge and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels

  • Experience driving change, improving standards and implementing consistent ways of working

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands

  • Confident communicator who can provide clear advice and hold stakeholders accountable
