Banks Exposition Building, Hadlock Field, Fitzpatrick Stadium, Ocean Gateway, William B. Troubh Ice Arena and other outdoor parks and City properties. Exciting opportunity to work Maine Celtics games, performances at Merrill Auditorium, and many more events. \ About the City of Portland Parks, Recreation and Facilities : Recreation offers opportunities for healthy lifestyles of all ages. Our department offers various programming for Youth, Adults, and 62+, including clinics, leagues, art/music, archery, cooking/baking, nature programs, open gyms, trips, luncheons, and more. \ Job Summary: Enthusiastic and reliable professional seeking to leverage strong communication and interpersonal skills as an Event Staff member. Possesses a natural knack for hospitality, excellent punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Ready to contribute to guest satisfaction, ticket verification, and venue cleanliness while quickly adapting to the dynamic demands of live events. Duties Include: \ - Set-up prior and tear-down following an event. - Preparing, cooking, taking orders, serving, and distributing food and beverages. - Ticket taking - Parking attendant - Cleaning before, during and after events, and crowd management. \ Requirements: \ - Excellent communication and customer service skills needed. - Minimum age of eighteen. - Must have a valid Class C driver's; must have and maintain a good driving record. \ Expected Hours/Schedule:\ Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays. \ Applications accepted until filled.
