Full job description

Our client, a major Kansas energy utility, is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join their team. As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be part of the Information Technology department supporting the End User Experience & Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, sound troubleshooting judgment, and dependability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Service Desk Analyst

Location: Topeka, KS (hybrid, minimum 1 day per week onsite)

Pay Range: $22.00–$24.50/hr

What's the Job?

  • Serve as first point of contact for IT incidents and service requests from employees, contractors, and interns

  • Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 laptops, Microsoft 365, corporate iPads and mobile devices, Citrix, VPN, and connectivity issues

  • Handle onboarding, access provisioning, password resets, and MFA enrollment

  • Document and manage tickets in ServiceNow within established service levels

  • Participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule

What's Needed?

  • 2+ years of experience in a service desk, help desk, or desktop support role

  • Experience with ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory or Entra ID

  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical users

  • U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a background check and drug screen

  • Valid driver's license and residence within 60 minutes of Topeka, KS
