CLX Property Advocate, Liability

What you're applying for We're looking for a Property Claims Advocate, Liability to help us deliver fast, fair, and genuinely human claims experiences. You'll be the person our customers count on when things go wrong — investigating liability claims end to end, making smart coverage decisions, and explaining them clearly, without the jargon. • Investigate and handle liability claims from first notice to final resolution — owning the full lifecycle

• Pay claims efficiently and fairly, keeping customer experience front and center throughout

• Spot subrogation opportunities as part of your day-to-day claims handling

• Communicate with customers by phone and email, translating complex coverage decisions into plain language

• Organize and prioritize your caseload to keep resolutions moving and questions from stacking up

What you'll need

• 3+ years of property liability and injury liability claims-handling experience

• A background with litigated and attorney-represented files — a significant advantage

• Property & Casualty adjuster license in your resident state strongly preferred — if you don't have one yet, we'll help you get there within your first 3 months

• Experience with a large national carrier, ideally supporting renters or homeowners customers

• Genuine empathy, patience, and the ability to bring calm to stressful situations

• Comfort with new technology and tools — you adapt quickly and don't shy away from change

• A college degree

• Ability to work in a remote environment

Lemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 - $72,000 plus equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
