Full job description

CTG is seeking to fill a Quality Engineer - FullStack position for our client.

Location: San Antonio, TX

Duration: 5 months

Duties:

  • Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and automated test solutions across the full application stack.

  • Automate UI, API, service, integration, data, performance, and end-to-end testing .

  • Develop automated tests for web, mobile, desktop, browser, client-server, microservices, and containerized applications .

  • Identify test automation opportunities, develop test cases, and improve test coverage and execution efficiency.

  • Integrate automated testing into DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing, execution, and reporting.

  • Troubleshoot test failures, analyze defects, and collaborate with developers and QA teams to resolve quality issues.

Skills:

  • Full-stack test automation, QA automation, software testing, and quality engineering

  • Programming/scripting for test automation and framework development

  • UI testing, API testing, REST services, integration testing, performance testing, and data testing

  • CI/CD, DevOps, microservices, containers, and automated test execution

  • Test case design, test modeling, defect analysis, troubleshooting, and test reporting

Experience:

  • Experience developing automated testing frameworks and solutions across multiple application layers.

  • Experience with full-stack application testing , automation tools, programming, and CI/CD integration.

  • Experience testing APIs, UI, services, databases, microservices, and distributed applications.

  • Experience collaborating with development and QA teams to improve test coverage and software quality.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
