Accounting Analyst - Junior

Cape Fox Eagle Health is seeking a Junior Financial Accounting Analystto join our team at the Defense Health Agency (DHA) in Aurora, Colorado. The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at: $70,000.00 - $72,400.00. The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Required: Two (2) years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or a related field preferred Responsibilities: - Serve as accounting and financial management analyst for institutional reporting - Perform accounting procedures and techniques for financial reporting requirements for Contract Resource Management (CRM) - Work with an Oracle-based accounting system that involves different programs generating a large number of transactions - Demonstrate knowledge of financial administration of contractsincluding contract line items, structure of the contracts option periods, and other administrative and technical aspects of the supporting contracts - Perform accurate recording of accounting events, applyappropriate cost accounting techniques, and demonstrate anunderstanding of the principles of financial statement compilation to ensure internal control compliance over financial reporting standards meeting the Service Organization Control (SOC) 1 / Statement of Standards for Attestation Engagement (SSAE) 18 reporting compliance standards. - Knowledge of financial administration of contracts - Excellent written and oral communication skills including grammatical/technical writing skills - Excellent attention to and accuracy with details - Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance - Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients Cape Fox Corporation, its subsidiaries, and affiliates provide equal employment opportunities to all persons and prohibit employment decisions on the basis of race, religion, color, creed, national origin, sex, age, disability, political affiliation, protected veteran status, or sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
