Becoming a part of Paramount means joining a team of passionate people who not only recognize the power of content but also enjoy a touch of fun and uniqueness. Together, we co-create moments that matter both for our audiences and our employees and aim to leave a positive mark on culture.
In This Role Youll:
This Director will own product strategy for Reporting and Measurement supporting the Ad Ops and Business Intelligence organization, operating as part of the broader Measurement, Reporting, and Payments leadership team within Paramounts Ad Tech ecosystem (linear, streaming, and Vantage). This role is responsible for defining how reporting and measurement investments serve Ad Ops and BIs operational and business goals, translating those priorities into a roadmap, and leading a team of Product Managers to execute against it. This Director will partner directly with VP and SVP-level stakeholders across Ad Ops, Business Intelligence, and Finance to align product investment decisions with broader business objectives, while collaborating closely with the Lead Product Manager on overall portfolio strategy across Measurement, Reporting, and Payments. This role operates under limited supervision, exercising significant autonomy in setting strategy and resourcing decisions for their area. This is a remote position.
-
Own product strategy for Reporting and Measurement across Ad Ops and Business Intelligence: Define the long-term vision and roadmap for how reporting and measurement products serve Ad Ops and BIs operational and strategic needs, aligning investment decisions with broader business goals.
-
Lead and develop a team of Product Managers: Manage, mentor, and grow Product Managers supporting this area, setting priorities, removing blockers, and building organizational capability over time.
-
Partner with VP and SVP-level stakeholders to align on priorities and resourcing: Serve as the primary product leader engaging with VPs and SVPs across Ad Ops, Business Intelligence, and Finance, influencing decisions on investment, resourcing, and long-term direction.
-
Drive cross-functional alignment with engineering, design, and data science leadership: Partner with functional leaders to ensure team structure, resourcing, and execution plans support the strategic roadmap.
-
Balance competing priorities across the Reporting, Measurement, and Payments portfolio: Collaborate with the Lead Product Manager to make trade-off decisions across products, ensuring resources are allocated to the highest-impact opportunities.
-
Identify and evaluate long-term product and market opportunities: Proactively surface new opportunities to improve reporting and measurement capabilities, bringing a point of view on where to invest next.
-
Represent the product organization in executive-level discussions: Communicate strategy, trade-offs, and progress to senior leadership, building confidence and alignment on direction.
-
Perform ad hoc strategic projects as needed to support the broader Ad Tech Measurement, Reporting, and Payments organization.
Basic Qualifications You Bring:
-
12+ years of Ad Tech experience, including 6+ years in a people-management capacity leading Product Managers.
-
Demonstrated experience setting product strategy and owning a roadmap for a product area, platform, or portfolio not just executing against one.
-
Extensive knowledge of ad tech ecosystems, with deep expertise across linear and streaming advertising measurement and reporting.
-
Proven track record influencing VP and SVP-level and executive stakeholders, aligning cross-functional teams around a shared strategic direction.
-
Strong experience balancing competing priorities and resourcing decisions across multiple products or teams.
-
Excellent communication and executive presence, with experience presenting strategy and recommendations to senior leadership.
-
Bachelors degree required, or equivalent practical experience.
-
Ability to travel occasionally (less than 10%) for team or company meetings, as needed.
Bonus Skills:
-
Experience with advertising payment systems or reconciliation workflows.
-
Familiarity with Vantage or comparable ad measurement/attribution platforms.
-
Prior experience building or scaling a product organization, including hiring and developing Product Managers.
-
Experience in media, entertainment, or streaming industries.
