Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer onsite in St. Petersburg, FL. This person will be able to understand client applications and instrument interfaces and create appropriate design according that will also comply with Design for Manufacturing standards. Other responsibilities include understanding how to integrate medical components and strong hands on experience with Enclosure Design.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
7+ Years experience in Enclosure Design, specifically with plastic and sheet metal
Plastic Injection Model Experience from Design perspective.
Hands on experience with SolidWorks 2023 or 2024
Medical Device Experience
Material Selection for Compatibility with IEC 60601 and IEC 61010 (medical device)
CREO 8.0+ Experience
Windchill / PTC Work group
